Most donations to The Healing Garden support services for clients during their cancer journeys; we are particularly grateful for the many organizations, individuals, and businesses who have donated plants, materials, and time to make the gardens in the front, the water feature by the support group room, and the back terrace and stone wall so much more than we expected.

Our next big project is the Sensory Garden. Here is what we need:

  • a wind sculputer to bring to life the element of air
  • donations to match a $6,750 grant for completion of the paths
  • volunteer labor — in early Spring and throught the Summer
  • organic compost and soil amendments
  • mulch
  • plants for Spring 2013
Tools for maintenance:
  • leaf blower
  • weed whacker
  • hand tools for Garden Therapy classes

Thank you for whatever help you can offer!
