The practice of Qi-Gong (also known as Chinese yoga), stimulates the lymph system to eliminate toxins, elicits the relaxation response (which supports the immune system), and calms the body and mind.

Qi-Gong exercises can be done standing or sitting, and include slow movement coordinated with breathing, mind-calming exercises, postural alignment, and self-massage.

Qi-Gong leader Carol Mielo Swerzenski is a professor of psychology, a consultant in Complementary Care, and a daily practitioner of Qi-Gong for 20 years.
