Counseling

Counseling can help ease the emotional difficulties a cancer diagnosis generates. The goal of counseling is self-exploration that creates a healing alliance between mind and body. Our culture often tells us we should "do it on our own," but clients find great benefit in working with a skilled therapist and/or a supportive group. They often experience greater emotional ease; find their resilience and personal strength growing; take on positive new behaviors; and move beyond previous limitations in thought or attitude and toward greater well-being.
