Karen Cote, Director of Integrative Care, RN, BSN, MSN. Karen joined the staff in 2011, bringing with her 33 years of nursing experience, and backgrounds in critical care, community health, and hospice. Her professional portfolio includes work as a staff and charge nurse at Children’s Hospital Boston, where she provided clinical care in a number of settings, including the Solid Organ Transplant Unit, Medical and Oncology units, and General Surgery. Karen also served as the Director of Hallmark Health Hospice, and has a comprehensive understanding of all aspects of hospice care. She received her BSN from Salem State University, and her MSN from Regis College. Karen@HealingGarden.net |

Lana Heino Roman, Care Coordinator, is a warm and vital presence at The Healing Garden. Twice challenged by her own breast cancer diagnoses, Lana has become the key contact and liaison for our clients and therapists. Janet Ganson, Business Manager, joined The Healing Garden in March 2010. One of the first women to get an MBA from the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth College, she worked at Gillette in financial support to senior management before starting a $1 million photography business with her husband and operating it for 13 years. For the past decade, she has been the senior financial staff person at two nonprofits — The Women’s Union in Boston and the deCordova Sculpture Park and Museum in Lincoln, Massachusetts.
